We finished the Low Fidelity Prototypes for the Farm Project!
Prototyping helps in identifying usability issues. Even though paper-based low-fidelity prototypes do not allow for user interactions, they help in identifying possible technical and design limitations from the onset.
They are used to demonstrate the early visualisation of the design, which in turn helps provoke innovation and improvement.
It should be noted that during Lo-Fi prototyping, in addition to improving the design through a HCD approach, its likewise an opportunity to explore oneâs imagination and thoughts about the design. It is an ideation phase that has no restrictions.
It will serve as an opportunity for the consortium/users to share feedback early in the design process.

The icd4tvet project is proceeding at full speed and the VET Curricula platform has completed and ready to go for it!
The digital platform developed in the context of the project will enable the labor market actors to define their needs as they occur on the basis of ESCO, so the other stakeholdersâranging from national authorities to individual VET schoolsâcan adapt swiftly to these needs with the creation of adequate, flexible curricula and training programs.

Re-Think/Re-Act focuses on the inclusion of secondary education students with adaptation difficulties and/or behavior in classrooms due to poor training of soft skills, which, currently, supposes a real challenge for education systems, since they tend to focus their training on hard skills as a priority.
RT RA aims to develop a global model of care for students, through different results closely related to each other, so that it will provide tools to accompany those students in the search for their own talent, encouraging reflection and positive emotional reaction, which in turn leads them to redirect possible disruptive behaviors and attitudes.
The project launched with a few successful meetings already!
Keep an eye out for this project, it’s really promising!

Our lab hosted another physical meeting about the EU funded Erasmus+ project, T4SVEN.
The T4SVEN project addresses the priority innovative practices in a digital era by developing and introducing guidelines and training for Education and Training (VET) teachers for integrating digital technologies in teaching and learning meaningfully, particularly concerning the distinctive features of VET such as work-based learning (WBL) and sector-specific skills. The meeting took place on 30th of June until 1st of July 2022 at the University of Cyprus Library at Nicosia, Cyprus. In the meeting partners discussed about several tasks: development of the platform, finalization, translations, piloting propositions, interim results, virtual scenarios, peer evaluation. Future work was also a topic of discussion.
