The pilots for Re-Think/Re-Act have started.

The 4 different tools are being tested from various users in the Cyprus and the countries of our partners (Spain, Portugal, Finland).

On 19 of December 2023 our Lab (Software Engineering and Internet Technologies Research Laboratory) and Cyprus Association of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering (CAMPBE) organised an online event.

The goals of the event was to inform participants about the project, present DIGI4ME Platform and allow the participants to register, explore and evaluate it.

Exciting news: The project assessment tools are under development.

Each microcompetence: Interdisciplinary, Technical, Basic, Soft will be evaluated through a series of activities in an interactive gamified environment! Stay tuned!!

We’re excited to share that the #DEELforHOST project team had a productive meeting on the 8th of December! Next year’s events are in the works, and we’ll be hosted by the University of Economics – Varna. Stay tuned!

On 23 and 28 November our Laboratory organised Mutliplier Events for the Learning Age project .

On the 23rd there was a presentation of the project at the Cyprus University of Technology and on the 28th at Materia Care Home.

The second newsletter for EPSILON is out!

Last week three students from the University of Cyprus (2 bachelor and 1 master student) had the pleasure to attend the EPSILON training organized and hosted by our great partners at Nova SBE.

Throughout last week they hosted engaging workshops and seminars full of invaluable insights into the applications of Data Science for promoting social and environmental impact.

Accelerating women participation in STEM fields to respond to the needs of industry 4.0 – FEMSTEM

SEIT Research Laboratory (Software Engineering and Internet Technologies Laboratory) of the Computer Science department participates in the FEMSTEM project started in November 2023, with a duration of 24 months.

FEMSTEM is an Erasmus+ project catered for the STEM students, academics, educators and experts. Using a cross-sectoral and transnational approach, the project will develop a digital bridge with an e-Toolkit, national bridge camps, mentorship & work shadowing placements, as well as a transnational virtual FemSTEM Summit. The project will also develop a Mentors Zone featuring virtual profiles of Women STEM Academic and Industry Experts across the EU with opportunities for direct communication, and mentorship provision.
