On July 3–4, 2025, partners from across Europe gathered in the beautiful seaside town of Kamena Vourla for the final TPM of the AWKE project (2023-1-ES01-KA220-SCH-000153532). Hosted at the scenic Sissy Hotel, the meeting focused on:

✅ Final discussions on project results and work packages
✅ Evaluations and project reporting
✅ Planning sustainability and follow-up actions

This meeting marks the successful closure of a rich collaborative journey, co-funded by the European Union.

The GREEN STEAM project was presented yesterday to over 60 career counselors, education experts and representatives of career centers, the Employment Agency, the Ministry of Education, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and the Human Resource Development Center – the Bulgarian National Erasmus+ Agency

Nevena Rakovska from the Business Foundation for Education/Фондация на бизнеса за образованието took part in the conference “New Trends in Career Consulting”, organized by the Student Computer Arts Society.

During the event, she presented innovative training resources and digital tools, and discussed the role of megatrends, including evolving technologies and artificial intelligence, demographic and climate changes, and their implications for career guidance and skills development.

The Green STEAM project addresses the growing importance of greenovation and STEAMpreneurship by offering courses for female students on topics such as green and digital skills, design thinking, project management and innovations in business.

✨ On May 20–21, 2025, the SEIT Lab team from the University of Cyprus participated in the 3rd Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ AWKE Project in beautiful A Coruña, Spain.

Over two days, we collaborated with partners from across Europe at the Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación (UDC) to:

✅ Review the progress of Work Packages 2–5
✅ Lead a European meeting on the role of digital tools in Erasmus+ projects
✅ Join discussions on immigrants in schools and youth employability through EURES
✅ Explore European institutions and their relevance in education
✅ Participate in a hands-on workshop on developing business plans in schools

We were also honoured to attend the official launch of the AWKE conference, with warm welcomes from the Vice-Rector, Dean, and project coordinators.

This TPM was not only productive but deeply enriching — blending strategy, innovation, and meaningful connections. 🤝🌍

GreenSteam hackathon in Poland is ongoing! It’s time for green innovation!

Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Łodzi has officially launched the GREEN STEAM Hackathon, where STEAM students work on solutions to real environmental challenges.

The event included inspiring webinars with Gravet Consulting, Renavis, Alliance Française, who shared their experience in sustainability and entrepreneurship. Students from Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Łodzi studying graphic design and management actively participated in the meetings, developing their ideas with the support of experts.

Importantly, the students prepare their projects in response to specific challenges defined by the three companies. This means they work on real business needs, creating solutions that have a chance of implementation and real impact.

Participants start the GreenSteam adventure with an online course (MOOC), covering key topics:

Entrepreneurship in STEAM

Environmental skills

Innovation and design thinking

Digital skills

Project management

The best ideas will be presented and awarded at a demonstration event at the end of June.
