On July 3–4, 2025, partners from across Europe gathered in the beautiful seaside town of Kamena Vourla for the final TPM of the AWKE project (2023-1-ES01-KA220-SCH-000153532). Hosted at the scenic Sissy Hotel, the meeting focused on:

✅ Final discussions on project results and work packages
✅ Evaluations and project reporting
✅ Planning sustainability and follow-up actions

This meeting marks the successful closure of a rich collaborative journey, co-funded by the European Union.

We were thrilled to gather for the 2nd TPM of the eHELPED-iT Erasmus+ project, hosted at the University of Cyprus 🇨🇾. Two days filled with collaboration, strategic planning, and inspiring discussions around Electronic Health Literacy (eHL), digital tools, and educational innovation.

✨ On May 20–21, 2025, the SEIT Lab team from the University of Cyprus participated in the 3rd Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ AWKE Project in beautiful A Coruña, Spain.

Over two days, we collaborated with partners from across Europe at the Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación (UDC) to:

✅ Review the progress of Work Packages 2–5
✅ Lead a European meeting on the role of digital tools in Erasmus+ projects
✅ Join discussions on immigrants in schools and youth employability through EURES
✅ Explore European institutions and their relevance in education
✅ Participate in a hands-on workshop on developing business plans in schools

We were also honoured to attend the official launch of the AWKE conference, with warm welcomes from the Vice-Rector, Dean, and project coordinators.

This TPM was not only productive but deeply enriching — blending strategy, innovation, and meaningful connections. 🤝🌍

Self-Scan, as part of the Your Breakthrough Project, is about to include dynamic questionnaires adapted to three different roles: teachers, counselors, and headmasters.

Self-Scan is a digital diagnostic self-assessment tool designed for educational centers. It helps schools evaluate their strengths and areas for improvement in supporting gifted students. This tool is part of an Erasmus+ project aimed at enhancing the identification, inclusion, and educational support of gifted learners.

We are happy to announce that we have successfully completed this school years’ Seminars on “Online privacy protection and digital footprint” in the context of WP2 – Awareness for the project CYberSafety V.

In school year 2024-2025 we visited seven different schools of the following regeons : Nicosia, Larnaca, Famagusta and Paphos.

We had the opportunity to take part in the Safer Internet Day event organized by the Pedagogical Institute of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth with the support of the Cyprus Safer Internet Center – CyberSafety.

During the event, we proudly presented e-followMe and the GDPR Game, engaging students and educators in fun, interactive ways to learn about online safety, privacy, and responsible digital behavior.

A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand and contributed to this important conversation about making the internet a safer and better place for all!

On January 16th and 17th, we launched the Erasmus+ project eHelped-IT with a fantastic kick-off meeting in Bucharest, Romania! 🎉

💡 What is eHelped-IT all about?
This project aims to:
✔️ Raise awareness about the importance of eHealth Literacy (eHL) in medical and allied health fields.
✔️ Assess the eHL skills of medical and allied health students using innovative self-assessment tools.
✔️ Enhance students’ eHL skills through hands-on strategies and interventions.
✔️ Provide evidence-based eHL recommendations for policy decision-makers.
✔️ Share the project’s results for a new and effective approach to eHL.

🎓 During the kick-off, each partner presented their assigned work packages, and the collaboration was inspiring. We also had the pleasure of touring the university, guided by our incredible hosts, who made us feel so welcome. 🤝🌟

Together, we’re building a healthier, more digitally literate future for healthcare! 💪🌐
