Exciting News! GREEN STEAM project

Are you curious to peek into the development process of the GREEN STEAM gamified platform? Today the partners met online to discuss the work progress. Our students will build knowledge in 5 topics – entrepreneurship, innovation, green skills, design thinking, and project management. Each of the 5 modules will include 5 interactive exercises, aiming to test what students learned. Additionally, the team is collecting practical challenges related to the circular economy the businesses meet, and students will collaborate to solve them in flipped labs next year.

The project is coordinated by the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy / Химикотехнологичен и металургичен университет – София /ХТМУ/ and involves the Business Foundation for Education/Фондация на бизнеса за образованието in Bulgaria , Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Łodzi / Międzynarodowi – International Cooperation at AHE in Poland , Mindshift in Portugal , UnitelmaSapienza university in Italy , and SEIT Lab – Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου | University Of Cyprus .

GREEN STEAM online course is on the way! The team met today to discuss the progress in developing the 5 training modules combined with inspiring resources, interactive exercises, and practical challenges. During the summer the partnership will continue its work on the training platform that aims to provide students in STEAM subjects with ecopreneurship competencies for the circular economy.

Prof. Katarzyna Śledziewska and Prof. Renata Włoch led a workshop on “How AI is revolutionizing the retail sector in Poland.” They shared insights from the INAIR project study, highlighting the benefits and challenges of AI adoption for European SMEs.

On June 27th, GREEN STEAM Project was presented to 14 youth policymakers and experts from 7 countries as a good practice.

The Business Foundation for Education/Фондация на бизнеса за образованието shared career and entrepreneurship projects, addressing young people. The event was part of knowledge-sharing initiatives to foster youth employment policies for sustainable rural development, organized as part of the Rural Youth Future project.

On June 20-21, 2024, the University of Cyprus hosted the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of FOOD4ALL in Nicosia, Cyprus! 🌍✨

As we move forward in our mission to promote agriculture education and highlight the vital role of the sector, this meeting focused on:
✅ Reviewing the outcomes of PR3
✅ Introducing PR4, the next key phase of the project
✅ Finalizing the working plan for the last stages of FOOD4ALL

With agriculture being a cornerstone of food security and economic growth, FOOD4ALL continues to inspire young generations to explore career opportunities in the sector and support sustainable development. 🌾📚

As we approach the final stretch of the project, we are more committed than ever to ensuring that agriculture is seen as a promising and essential career path for the future! 🚀
