On January 16th and 17th, we launched the Erasmus+ project eHelped-IT with a fantastic kick-off meeting in Bucharest, Romania! 🎉

💡 What is eHelped-IT all about?
This project aims to:
✔️ Raise awareness about the importance of eHealth Literacy (eHL) in medical and allied health fields.
✔️ Assess the eHL skills of medical and allied health students using innovative self-assessment tools.
✔️ Enhance students’ eHL skills through hands-on strategies and interventions.
✔️ Provide evidence-based eHL recommendations for policy decision-makers.
✔️ Share the project’s results for a new and effective approach to eHL.

🎓 During the kick-off, each partner presented their assigned work packages, and the collaboration was inspiring. We also had the pleasure of touring the university, guided by our incredible hosts, who made us feel so welcome. 🤝🌟

On the 25th of November our Lab in collaboration with the Nireas Research Center organized a Multiplier Event for the erasmus + project Brights.

Our guest speaker was Dr. Korfiatis who spoke to us about sustainability.

From our lab Mr. Marios Kyprianou spoke about the project and from Nireas Research Center Mrs. Toxqui and Mrs. Naziri spoke.

The event was a success as several people attended it in person and online!

Today, 28th of November 2024, the GREEN STEAM partners met in Rome, Italy. The meeting was hosted by UnitelmaSapienza

The partners discussed the development of the project activities and the future tasks.

Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου | University Of Cyprus – SEIT presented to the consortium the first version of the Green Steam Open learning platform. At the begging of February the platform will be available in 6 languages.

Next year, 250 students from the 5 partner countries will collaborate in flipped labs to propose solutions to these challenges. The students’ solutions will be presented at demonstration events, and the best ideas will be awarded.

The project is coordinated by the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy Химикотехнологичен и металургичен университет – София /ХТМУ/ and involves the Business Foundation for Education/Фондация на бизнеса за образованието in Bulgaria , Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Łodzi in Poland , Mindshift in Portugal , UnitelmaSapienza in Italy , and SEIT Lab – Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου | University Of Cyprus.

The GREEN STEAM project has been presented at the National Lifelong Learning Days organized by the Ministry of Education and Science.

Gergana Andreeva, chairperson of the Business Foundation for Education/Фондация на бизнеса за образованието demonstrated good practices and training resources for skills development during the lifespan.

The event involved policy experts from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social Policy, National Education for Vocational Education and Training, Employment Agency, and other social partners. It was held under the “Skills Program” Project – Agenda 4 Skills – ERASMUS-EDU-2023-AL- AGENDA-IBA European adult training program of the Erasmus+ program.
