On November 21-22 2024, during the second transnational project meeting of our Erasmus+ project #Femstem, the consortium met in Thessaloniki and reviewed key milestones in project management, quality assurance, and impact reporting, set exciting deadlines for the FEMSTEM toolkit, VlogTalks, and translations, and aligned on platform integration, mentor engagement, and upcoming piloting and dissemination activities—full speed ahead toward impactful implementation!

The GREEN STEAM project has been presented at the National Lifelong Learning Days organized by the Ministry of Education and Science.

Gergana Andreeva, chairperson of the Business Foundation for Education/Фондация на бизнеса за образованието demonstrated good practices and training resources for skills development during the lifespan.

The event involved policy experts from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social Policy, National Education for Vocational Education and Training, Employment Agency, and other social partners. It was held under the “Skills Program” Project – Agenda 4 Skills – ERASMUS-EDU-2023-AL- AGENDA-IBA European adult training program of the Erasmus+ program.

Last Wednesday, 23/10/2024 the second TPM of the Edu-ment project took place in Nicosia.

Discussions were held on all the deliverables of the project and how to proceed with the implementation of the tool that the project will provide.

The GREEN STEAM partners collect practical #challenges companies face, related to the transition to the #circular economy, introducing #sustainable business models and innovative green social solutions.

Are you an organization concerned about it’s environmental impact? Do you want to replace plastic packaging or reduce waste? Let us know in the comments what type of challenges you face and we will include them in the GREEN STEAM hackathon!

Next year, 250 students from the 5 partner countries will collaborate in flipped labs to propose solutions to these challenges. The students’ solutions will be presented at demonstration events, and the best ideas will be awarded.

On October 16th GREEN STEAM Project was presented at the Eramus Days in UCTM. The students learned about the project and the upcoming piloting of 5 developed modules, as well as their opportunity to participate in the upcoming Hackathon in the new year.

Are you curious to peek into the development process of the GREEN STEAM gamified platform? Today the partners met online to discuss the work progress. Our students will build knowledge in 5 topics – entrepreneurship, innovation, green skills, design thinking, and project management. Each of the 5 modules will include 5 interactive exercises, aiming to test what students learned. Additionally, the team is collecting practical challenges related to the circular economy the businesses meet, and students will collaborate to solve them in flipped labs next year.
