AIM

To enhance teaching and learning in the digital environment across all levels of higher education.

MAIN RESULTS

The project aims at reaching nine results:

1. University of Economics, Bratislava teaching staff trained in digital teaching methodologies, including special needs instruction.
2. Doctoral students at the University of Economics, Bratislava, trained in digital teaching methodologies, including special needs instruction.
3. Students at all degree levels trained in digital competencies for effective learning, including those with special needs.
4. Enhanced digital competencies of students for labor market relevance.
5. The quality of digital instruction at the University of Economics in Bratislava improved.
6. Trainers in digital competencies trained.
7. The preconditions for the introduction of new digital study programs created
8. Produced intellectual outcomes: Report on target group needs, E-learning platform, Guidebooks.
9. Project outcomes and intellectual products disseminated effectively.

AIM

To address the disruptions caused by Covid-19 in education by systematic reviews and case studies on blended learning in schools, developing professional development courses and an evaluation framework, and disseminating key findings.

MAIN RESULTS

The project aims at reaching seven results:

1. Development of a project website containing narratives, conceptual maps, literature reviews evidence of impact, and protocols for data collection.
2. Case studies with findings later converted into peer-reviewed papers.
3. Framework of indicators for training resources and blended learning evaluation.
4. Development of a REBEL Training Programme for schools and sectoral support agencies.
5. Development of a REBEL MOOC for schools and sectoral support agencies.
6. Interim and final reports summarizing outputs from project phases.
7. Evaluation report on the impact of the project.

AIM

To support EU strategies in sport, physical activity, social inclusion, and equal opportunities by enhancing the capacity of health professionals. Specifically, it focuses on training health professionals to utilize positive sports experiences to facilitate behavioral changes in individuals recovering from SUD.

MAIN RESULTS

The project aims at reaching five results:

1. Development of a sport-based protocol tailored for individuals undergoing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment
2. Creation of a blended training designed to empower health professionals in the addiction field to implement and evaluate behavioral change interventions using sports.
3. Introducing blended-learning module for sport science students to implement SUD treatment interventions.
4. Targeting SUD treatment individuals, addiction professionals, sport science students, treatment organizations, and faculties.
5. Anticipated impact: Improved physical and mental health via affordable sport activities, fostering behavioral change in SUD treatment.

To raise awareness about the marine pollution, challenges that the seas are facing, overfishing, as well as contribute to the reduction of marine debris.

MAIN RESULTS

The project aims at reaching five results:

1. Transnational Report: Attitudes & Knowledge of Fishery/Aquaculture Workers on Sustainable Innovations.
2. Training material for local fishery and aquaculture workers to adopt sustainable practices.
3. E-learning platform for supporting the training activities on blue sustainability.
4. Podcast series raising awareness on fishing waste reduction and marine preservation.
5. Policy recommendation: Establish marine litter stations in ports of European islands.

AIM

KAEBUP aims at creating an international educational and training method offering participants the opportunity to engage with professional environments, learning how research can be the basis for innovative professional practices and what businesses in the field of planning, architecture and urban design require from academia.

TARGET GROUPS

This will be done at all levels of the academic community:

• At the students’ level, the project intends to respond to the need for awareness on the SDGs and Sustainability, for skills development, necessary to ensure proper youth involvement in the transition, and as a tool of empowerment in the rising green jobs market.
• At the teaching staff level, BRIGHTS responds to the need for new methodologies to help teachers upskill and reskill their didactic modalities, and to deliver content in new stimulating ways.
• At a systemic and organisational level, BRIGHTS intends to meet the need highlighted by the Green Deal, to empower Universities in their capacity to address the green transition.

MAIN RESULTS

The project aims at reaching three results:

1. The creation of MOOCS and the implementation of Sustainability Leadership sessions to educate students about the 2030 Agenda. The MOOCS (formal education) and associated interactive activities (non-formal education) will facilitate behavioral changes for individual preferences, consumption habits, and lifestyles as well as develop sustainability awareness and critical thinking, promoting learners’ leading attitude towards the active engagement in environmental sustainability.
2. The creation of creative, student-centered delivery systems for lessons on sustainability. On the one hand, it will assist teachers in upgrading and reskilling their teaching modalities and in presenting material in fresh, energizing ways. On the other hand, it will encourage the development of methodologies focused on developing green skills, to meet the needs of individuals by implementing and testing creative, student-centered replicable practices.
3. The creation of a manual compiling and disseminating best practices for establishing a Sustainability Center (SC) in higher education will strengthen universities’ ability to address the green transition by assisting them in establishing and bolstering the Sustainability Centers as catalysts for green opportunities.
