Evangelia Vanezi (M.Sc.) is currently a Researcher at the Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) Laboratory at the Computer Science department of the University of Cyprus. As a member of the laboratory she is involved in numerous EU funded projects. She holds a graduate (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science and a post-graduate (M.Sc.) degree in Internet Computing, from the same department. She is currently pursuing a PhD degree. Her research interests and expertise include Web-based Software Engineering, User Management Systems Development, Privacy in Software Systems, Data Protection in Software Systems, Privacy verification in Software Systems, Formal Methods in Software Engineering Methodologies and Privacy by Design in Software Development. Her skills include programming in several languages, and developing of web and mobile applications.

Constantinos Xenofontos (B. Sc) is currently a post-graduate Computer Science student at the University of Cyprus. He has completed his undergraduate studies in (BSc) Computer Science at Birmingham City University, UK. Recently, he has started working at the University of Cyprus, Nicosia, as a Researcher and Developer at Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) Laboratory at the Department of Computer Science. In parallel, he works as a Teaching Assistant at the university. His skills consist of programming in various languages and web developing.

Marios Kyprianou (B. Sc) is currently a Researcher/Software Developer at the Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) Laboratory at the Computer Science department of the University of Cyprus. He is a graduate from the University of Crete from the Department of Computer Science. Now he is currently studying for his master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Cyprus and he is a teaching assistant at the University of Cyprus. His interests include programming, data bases, web development and other internet technologies.

Antonina Panagiotou (M.Sc.) is currently a Researcher at the Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) Laboratory at the Computer Science Department of the University of Cyprus. She holds a graduate (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering & Informatics at the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering and Informatics of Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). Also, a post-graduate (M.Sc.) degree in Design & Development of Computer Games both at the department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts of CUT and at the department of computer science of University of Cyprus (UCY). She has worked for a short time in Primetel and Deloitte’s Innovative Centre (A.R.I.S.). Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the department of computer science of UCY.

Alexia Dini is currently pursuing a PhD degree and is a member of the Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) Lab of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cyprus. She received her MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Bradford, UK (1999), and her BSc in Computer Science from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK (1998). She has 19 years of industrial experience in various positions in the software development sector both in Cyprus and the UK. She has been involved in CIP ICT-PSP programmes of the European Commission. She has participated in conference organization and has authored 9 papers in international conferences and journals. Her research interests include Privacy-Enhancing Technologies, System Privacy, Smart IoT Devices, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Internet of Things.

Maria Papoutsoglou is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of School of Informatics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She received her M.Sc. degree in Information Systems from the same faculty in 2013 and the B.Sc. in Information Technology from the University of Macedonia in 2010. She is also worked in European research projects. In the past, she made a traineeship at CEDEFOP and worked as a Data Analyst in the industry. Her research interests include web data collection, data analysis and statistical methods. Also, she is a visiting researcher at the Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) Laboratory.

Paschalis Mpeis (MSc) is currently a PhD student at the School of Informatics of the University of Edinburgh (UoE). Currently he is a Visiting Researcher at the University of Cyprus (UCY), working on the EnterCY project of Dr. Zeinalipour, and the CYberSafety II project of Dr. Kapitsaki. He holds a BSc from UCY, and an MSc from UoE. His research interests include compiler optimization for interactive applications on mobile devices. In particular, his optimization technique takes into consideration a real user’s input to an application, while hiding all the compilation overheads from the user.
