Install, configure, operate and maintain Linux Systems (RHEL/CentOS /Fedora/Ubuntu), Windows software and related infrastructure. Maintain infrastructure, configuration and health monitoring of the systems and servers. Improve stability and performance of the systems and troubleshoot issues that may arise. Maintain and improve the security posture and hardening of the Linux environments, vulnerability remediation deployments. With strong Linux Administration skills, deep knowledge/experience RedHat based Operating Systems, scripting skills in Python,Bash, PowerShell and PHP.
Application Development
Participate in the architecture, design, deployment and maintenance phases of in-house software (PHP/HTML/Javascript/MariaDB).
Examples of webpages development is the in-house helpdesk system, the inventory system, the RSS Information system and many more.
Open Source software installation, configuration and management
Configure, administer, maintain, update and document the Moodle LMS environment and plug-ins. With strong database administration skills (MySQL, mariaDB), deep knowledge of administration, provisioning, configuration, tuning and monitoring of application web servers (Apache / Nginx) and LAMP stack. Experienced with several open source systems including Apache, Nagios, MediaWiki, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, MariaDB, PHP, Named, Fail2ban, Nmap, Postfix, OpenSSL and many more!
KVM Virtualization and OpenStack Infrastructure Cloud Administration
Smooth running production systems and maintain computer systems, network servers, virtualization and cloud availability.
Virtualization experience in KVM Virtualization, Dockers containers and OpenStack in-house servers installation using Kolla Ansible.
