Postdoctoral research with the Software Engineering and Internet Technologies Group at University of Cyprus
The SEIT (Software Engineering and Internet Technologies, www.cs.ucy.ac.cy/seit/) laboratory is announcing a postdoctoral position for a research associate with strong academic background in one or more of the following areas:
- Service Oriented Computing
- Model-Driven Engineering
- Privacy protection and context-awareness
The position will be funded by the University of Cyprus in the framework of Startup fund for research activities. The successful candidate will perform research activities in the above areas focusing more specifically on one of the following: 1) software engineering for context-awareness, 2) software and service reuse and exploitation of software repositories and 3) privacy issues in application development.
The applicants should be in possession of a PhD in one of the aforementioned or related fields. The positions are for 6 months, starting in late 2012 (November or December). The monthly (gross) salary is in the order of EUR 1,600 - 2,300, depending on qualifications and prior experience. Applicants need not be citizens of the Republic of Cyprus.
