Together with Demos Pavlou and Marios Nikolaides we were the only teem ranked among the first three teems in both the first (2007) and second (2008) IEEE Xtreme Programming Contest. In both contests we achieved the 3rd place worldwide.

My diploma thesis studied the simulation in real time of a complete microarchitectural system. The fundamentals of real time simulation were developed with emphasis on modeling of the processor and its peripherals.
Specifically, during the diploma thesis Microlab (HP 5036A®) was simulated, which is an educational microprocessor system based on 8085 Intel® processor. Microlab is used as the basic tool of the course “Microprocessors Laboratory” which is a basic course of “Group Υ” of the Electrical and Computers Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens.
The simulator is used today as the basic tool for the “Microprocessors Laboratory” course and practically has substituted the prototype system.
