Born in Athens, Greece, 6th August 1960 Graduated from the University of Aston in Birmingham with a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics in 1982. Earned a M.Sc. in Computer Science with Applications from the same University in 1983, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia in 1989 Holds the rank of Full Professor in Computer Science Research Interests: Parallel and Distributed Systems, Component-Based and Middleware Systems, Service-Oriented Computing, Cooperative Information Systems, Mobile Computing, e- and m-Learning, e- and m-Health Teaching: Operating Systems (B.Sc. core subject), Advanced Topics in Software Engineering (B.Sc. advanced elective), Advanced Software Engineering (M.Sc. course) - Postal Address:
