Short CV:
Irene Kilanioti received her B.Sc. degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Athens, Athens Greece, in 2002. She received her M.Sc. degree in Advanced Information Systems from the same Department in 2004. For 2004-2005 she worked in the Enterprise Systems Development Department of Vodafone IT Department as a software engineer, and since 2005 she works as a secondary education teacher in Greece. Since 2012 she is a Ph.D. candidate in the University of Cyprus (Department of Computer Science) with Dr.Chryssis Georgiou and Dr.George Pallis as supervisors and funded by a greek state scholarship. Since 2012, she is a member of the LINC - Laboratory for Internet Computing of the University of Cyprus. Her research interests include social networks, semantic web technologies, and adaptive educational software. She received the best student award of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications for graduating first in her M.Sc. class.
