Short CV:
Irene Kilanioti received her B.Sc. degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Athens, Athens Greece, in 2002. She received her M.Sc. degree in Advanced Information Systems from the same Department in 2004. For 2004-2005 she worked in the Enterprise Systems Development Department of Vodafone IT Department as a software engineer, and since 2005 she works as a secondary education teacher in Greece. She is a Ph.D. candidate in the University of Cyprus (Department of Computer Science) supervised by Professor G.A.Papadopoulos. During 2012-2015 she received a scholarship of the Greek Scholarships Foundation. Her research interests include social networks, semantic web technologies, and adaptive educational software. She received the best student award of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications for graduating first in her M.Sc. class.
