The major outcomes of the pilot project in terms of products/deliverables, methodological approaches, etc are summarised as follows:
i) Development of an innovative modular multimedia based training methodology for health telematics.
ii) Teleworking through the network at national and transnational levels.
iii) Emergency telematics technology transfer (of software developed under the telematics programmes AMBLULANCE and ET-ASSIST).
iv) Multimedia teleworking training software on the Web and on a CD-ROM.
v) Teleworking database with case studies from the fields of emergency trauma.
vi) Translation of training material in Greek, French and Spanish.
vii) Set up of a Web discussion-query forum related to the targets and the training material of the project. A dissemination strategy using the internet, media, target groups (health professionals), public authorities and private hospitals and institutes, health enterprises and professional organizations will be followed.
