Job AnnouncementsThe Department of Computer Science, University of Cyprus invites applications for a number of Research Associate and Scientific Staff positions in the scope of: GRID COMPUTING: PERFORMANCE EVALUATION & MIDDLEWARE These positions will involve conducting research, development and integration, in the context of the CrossGrid project, funded by the European Commission (IST). The positions are initially for one (1) year, renewable up to three (3) years. We seek individuals with a strong research commitment, advanced exposure to programming systems, an interest to pursue post-graduate or post-doctoral studies in the University of Cyprus, and expertise/exposure in the areas of Grid Computing, Peer-to-Peer Systems, High-Performance, Parallel and Distributed Systems. Knowledge of the Greek language, although considered a practical advantage, is by no means a requirement. Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Available positions include
