Biographical Notes:
Undergraduate studies at Aston University, U.K. (B.Sc. in Computer Science
and Mathematics, 1982), graduate studies at Aston University, U.K.(M.Sc. in
Computer Science with Applications, 1983) and at the University of East Anglia,
U.K. (Ph.D. in Computer Science, 1989). He has worked as researcher at NCR
Demokritos, and the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki (Research Assistant,
1984-85) and in the Dactl project, a part of the Alvey Programme and the ESPRIT
II EDS project (Research Associate). He has also worked as System Analyst and
Applications Programmer in the Greek Air Force. His research interests are:
Design and implementation of declarative languages and associated computational
models, concurrent and parallel processing, object-oriented programming,
modelling and synchronization of multimedia objects, coordination
programming.
